Jeremy Rubier Director

Jérémy Rubier is a French-Canadian director whose work explores the human experience through documentary filmmaking, series, and auteur cinema. A writer, cinematographer, and editor, he has spent over ten years developing a sensitive, embodied approach, capturing the stories of the people he encounters with a direct and poetic visual.

After living in Japan for nearly ten years, where he directed his first feature-length fiction film Sayo, he has now returned to Quebec. There, he develops documentary series, commercial projects, and music videos, working at the intersection of observing reality and cinematic storytelling.
